A devotee prays to Lord Hanuman in times of distress and to get rid of complex problems. It is often said that one who worships Lord Hanuman also gets the blessings of Lord Rama.
Lord Hanuman is also known as Sankat Mochan – one who dispels the difficulties and problems of the devotees. The Sri Hanuman Chalisa proves immensely helpful in getting the blessings of Lord Hanuman. It is one of the most widely read religious texts of Hindus today.
Our Beloved Pujya Swamiji often prescribed the 41-day observance to many devotees who sought advice and blessings when they encountered challenges and problems in their lives.
Today we pay our gratitude to our Divine Master and Pujya Swamiji for giving us such a powerful antidote to overcome our problems.
Our Divine Master wrote: "There are no problems that cannot be dissolved by prayer, no sufferings that cannot be allayed by prayer, no difficulties that cannot be surmounted by prayer, and no evil that cannot be overcome by prayer. Prayer is the miracle by which God's power flows into human veins. Common mass-prayer is very inspiring. A huge spiritual current is generated during mass-prayer. In times of danger and calamity, mass prayer works wonders".
We are pleased to announce that the 2018 recital of the 41-day prayer has been well supported by our devotees here in South Africa and from a number of devotees from China, India, Germany, USA and the United Kingdom who have signed the pledge via our website. We take this opportunity to wish all devotees who have pledged, every success in their prayers over the next 41 days.
